Palisade Systems’ new data security integration solutions cater to mobile and cloud computing market

Palisade Systems, a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution
provider has announced data security integration solutions catered to cloud
service providers and mobile device vendors in preventing data loss and
securing information.

Cloud service providers and mobile device vendors will be
able to integrate Palisade System’s enterprise DLP functionality into their
products and solutions by using Palisade’s PacketSure DLP solutions or by
leveraging the Palisade SDK the company recently announced.

Palisade Software Development Kit (SDK) integrates
content-aware data security and data policy enforcement capabilities for
e-mail, Web monitoring, messaging gateway services, encryption, social media
content, cloud services and mobile devices.

Moreover, Palisade will be providing cloud service providers and mobile device vendors
with a key advantage by minimizing the risk associated with moving key
applications and data to the web, and helps ensure the security of corporate
data on mobile devices.

Spencer Snedecor, CEO of Palisade Systems said, “With
the continued movement towards cloud deployments, we realize the need to
protect data wherever it resides to minimize risk and meet compliance
regulations.”

Palisade initially delivered a cloud-based security solution
as part of the Amazon Web Service (AWS) Solution Provider Program where the
company provided full DLP functionality for web and email security for Amazon
customers who had web, email or database servers in EC2 or Virtual Public Cloud
(VPC) environments.

“We’ve been working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to
deliver full enterprise DLP capabilities in this environment to secure
sensitive data and have had solutions running in AWS for months,” Snedecor
added.

The PacketSure DLP technology has been integrated into
compartmentalized mobile security solutions which enable scanning of all data
in order to ensure corporate data is not leaked.

PacketSure DLP monitors content as it flows from mobile
devices over the network into the company, or to a Web or cloud application. It
inspects the content and ensures that it does not contain sensitive data that
violates company’s policies.

Pricing will be consistent with Palisade’s current offerings
in the market, providing full enterprise DLP at about half the cost of other
DLP solutions.
