Panasonic announces interoperability certification for SIP Telephones with Brekeke Software

Panasonic System Networks announced that Brekeke Software
has certified the Panasonic line of SIP Cordless Phone Systems, the KX-TGP500
and KX-TGP550, for use with their hosted telephony platform.

This alliance solidifies Panasonic’s global leadership in
the DECT cordless telephone market as well as Brekeke’s SIP-hosted telephony
platform which provides true multi-tenancy under one server.

The Panasonic
SIP Cordless Phone Systems are ideal for both home office and business
environments, boasting outstanding voice quality and a range of
productivity-boosting options in feature-rich desk phone replacements.

In addition, DECT 6.0 handsets ensure no interference
with wireless networks and a convenient cordless design eliminates the need to
run dedicated network wiring to each employee workstation.

“Service providers that utilize Brekeke telephony
platform products can now offer stable and affordable wireless SIP phones to
their business users,” said Shin Yamade, CEO of Brekeke Software.

“We were very pleased to confirm such feature as SCA
(Shared Call Appearance) and BLF (Busy Lamp Field) with these Panasonic phones,
which will allow our business users to monitor line availability and confirm
presence status of colleagues by just glancing at the phone,” Yamade
added.

With flexible configuration options, it has never been
easier to deploy and expand a SIP-based phone system with Brekeke’s hosted
telephony platform. Handsets can be easily added wherever needed; all that is
required is a nearby electrical outlet.

The reduced hardware costs and simplicity of routing calls
over an Internet connection can add up to huge savings on monthly telephone
bills, thus enabling home office or business environments to take advantage of
a larger variety of business-class features such as call forwarding, intercom
and conferencing, voicemail and many more.

Panasonic System Networks Company of America recently
launche
its Cloud-based services solution, Panasonic Cloud Business Phone System for
small businesses.

This marks the first step into the services industry from
a company that has provided state-of-the-art telephony systems for business
owners nationwide.
