Quickoffice improves Android mobile office app to enhance productivity

Quickoffice, a provider of mobile office
productivity solutions, announced updates to its Android smartphone and tablet
applications.

These new updates are aimed at offering
increased connectivity via new cloud storage partners and social publishing
capabilities.

Using the current version of Android
software, Quickoffice offers a better integrated user interface, along with
enhanced viewing and editing features for a robust, yet streamlined user
experience specifically designed for mobile devices.

Quickoffice Pro and Quickoffice Pro HD
offer users a desktop-like editing experience on their mobile devices. New
features include the ability to create bulleted and numbered lists, make
indentations, hide and unhide rows, merge cells, wrap text and quick scroll.

Quickoffice’s proprietary File Manager lets
users create ZIP archives as well as select multiple documents and sharing
services at once, with the popular ‘drag and drop’ feature, enabling easier
file management.

Users can enjoy increased document
collaboration via the cloud with the addition of Evernote and Catch to Quickoffice’s
list of supported cloud storage partners, which includes Box.net, Dropbox,
Google Docs, MobileMe, SugarSync and Huddle.

Social sharing and publishing integration
is now also available to consumers and enterprises alike, as Quickoffice connects
with popular social networks, such as LinkedIn, Yammer, Facebook, Twitter,
Scribd, Slideshare and Dosctoc.

“Further, as mobile and cloud
environments converge, Quickoffice aims to remain one of the most connected
apps available. We’re proud to integrate with a robust list of cloud storage
providers and social networks, putting us at the forefront of this popular
connected trend,” said said Gregg Fiddes, senior vice president of sales
and business development at Quickoffice.
