Revenue Frontier selects TelVue for satellite broadcast operations

TelVue Corporation announced that Revenue Frontier of
Santa Monica, CA has selected TelVue’s B3000-Pro Digital Broadcaster to
originate their three (3) national satellite feeds of direct response
programming to hundreds of affiliates.

Revenue Frontier selected TelVue’s 1:1 redundant SD / HD capable broadcast system with automatic
fail-over protection and full support for remote operation via the Internet.

“With this digital broadcast system upgrade, Revenue
Frontier continues to demonstrate its leadership and innovation in the direct
response media industry. The decision to upgrade from a tape based broadcast
system to 100 percent video file based workflow will improve broadcast quality,
lower costs and allow the company to be more responsive to scheduling changes
on its three satellite feeds,” said Paul Andrews, senior VP, TelVue Corporation.

TelVue’s unique web-based server management interface
enables Revenue Frontier to operate and monitor the entire broadcast system
remotely from their offices in Santa Monica even though the equipment is
co-located at the satellite uplink facility in Colorado. TelVue is the leader
in hosted broadcasting technology, whether co-located at a satellite uplink
facility, or hosted in our own National Data Center.

“Over the years, we have developed great confidence
in TelVue and their digital video servers. We already manage a large number of
the TelVue Princeton B100 video server channels remotely and they have
demonstrated excellent reliability for our customers,” said Steve Schachter,
SVP of Sales and Distribution, Revenue Frontier.

Moving up to TelVue’s HD B3000-Pro server was the
natural choice as we upgrade our satellite broadcasting system. The transition
from tape to file based broadcasting was absolutely painless while reducing
expenses and saving time,” Schachter added.
