security and data protection solutions, announced the promotions
of John Keenan to vice president of North America Sales and Vince Massey to
senior director of North America Channels.

 

The promotions of Keenan and Massey are recognition of
their proven ability to lead the sales and channel organizations. They
underscore SonicWALL’s ongoing adjustment of its organization to enhance
customer experience, further expand sales in the enterprise space and reconfirm
commitment to SMBs.

With SonicWALL for more than 10 years, Keenan has
been involved in every aspect of SonicWALL’s North America sales organization.
Throughout his SonicWALL tenure, Keenan has worked with channel and
distribution partners to strengthen relationships and dramatically improve
customer satisfaction along the way.

 

He previously held positions as director of OEM sales,
director of eastern region sales, director of MSP alliances, and most recently
vice president of distribution and DMR programs.

In his new role, Massey continues to build on his three
years at SonicWALL where he led the North America distribution team, with a
focus on identifying new channel and partner opportunities that match the
company’s overall growth strategy.

 

This new position combines both field and channel
operations to allow Massey to drive consistent messages, programs, training,
pricing, tools and enablement throughout all channels.

 

Recently, SonicWALL announced the availability of WAN Acceleration in SonicOS 5.8.1, further enhancing the
capabilities of the current SonicWALL Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) Series
and introducing integrated support for the SonicWALL WAN Acceleration Appliance
(WXA) Series.

 

This announcement underscores SonicWALL’s commitment to
continued investment in its NGFW series and to providing its customers with a
highly secure, accelerated and optimized network that drives business and
