T-Mobile and Google celebrate the launch of Google Music

Wireless major T-Mobile USA  and search engine giant Google have

celebrated to mark the launch of Google Music.

 


The special event featured live musical performances by popular acts, including
Maroon 5 with special guest Travie McCoy, Busta Rhymes, Dirty South and a surprise
performance by Drake.

 


The event featured interactive engagements for music fanatics to showcase their
love of music, including a real-world T-Mobile and Google Music store, giant
Android and live graffiti installations, all under the backdrop of a raw,
real-life concrete warehouse street art gallery with performances by some of
the biggest names in music.

 

 


Star-studded event, including Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Jamie-Lynn
Sigler, Liam Hemsworth, Serena Williams and Kevin Connolly.  R3HAB got the
party started as guests arrived at the magenta carpet.

 

 

Inside the party, Jamie Chung stopped by
the “Ask Des” interactive demo device station where resident T-Mobile
product expert, Desmond Smith, provided hands on experience on how to utilize
Google Music on their T-Mobile Android-powered 4G devices.

 


To celebrate the launch of Google Music, T-Mobile is also offering millions of
T-Mobile customers using Android 2.2. or above smartphones and tablets free
Google Music content from featured artists including Drake, Maroon 5, Shakira
and others.

 


Google Music is a service that enables users to upload up to 20,000 of songs
from their music collections for free, purchase songs from favorite artists,
and streams all music from Android devices and the web. Google Music also
includes new social features like Social Recommendations, that let share songs
on Google+ with friends, allowing them to listen to the song in full for free.

 

 

Google Music is available for download to
the latest T-Mobile Android-powered 4G devices, including the new Samsung
Galaxy S II, HTC Amaze 4G and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

 

T-Mobile recently announced enhanced and expanded functionality for its Bobsled by T-Mobile service.
