T-Mobile Austria taps NetScout to assure service delivery for LTE network

T-Mobile Austria has selected NetScout to assure service delivery and provide operational intelligence for its LTE network.

Earlier, T-Mobile Austria, which has 4.1 million customers, has selected NetScout for its third-generation (3G) HSPA+ network.

The nGenius solution provides T-Mobile with a single service assurance platform to support data and multimedia services to assure a seamless subscriber experience on and between their 2G, 3G and LTE networks.

In 2013 T-Mobile invested over €100 million in the network with a specific focus on the roll out of HSPA+ and the next generation mobile network LTE.

Thanks to the nGenius solution, granular traffic visibility allows operations staff to track all application traffic and assess its impact on system performance and overall user experience on a community and per-user level. The nGenius solution proactively identifies emerging performance problems and allows efficient failure analysis to help assure service quality.

Our customers have very high performance expectations, so our highest priority is to continuously improve our customers’ experience to deliver more incremental value,” said Athanasios Avgeridis, senior vice president operations for technology at T-Mobile Austria.
