Targeting UK enterprises, ZTE unveils HD video conferencing products

Telecom Lead Europe: Chinese telecom equipment maker ZTE
has launched HD video conferencing solutions in the UK market.

 

ZTE is late to enter the UK market. According to
Datamonitor, video conferencing industry will be worth 2.3 billion pounds by
2016.

 

Videoconferencing and telepresence equipment market grew 34% to
$3 billion in 2011

 

Recently, Infonetics Research said sales of
videoconferencing and telepresence equipment have increased 34 percent to $2.99
billion in 2011. The enterprise video conferencing and telepresence market
increased 15 percent to $882 million between the third and fourth quarters of
2011.

 

The ZTE videoconferencing system (VCS) is currently used
in 27 countries and regions and over 100,000 VCS terminals have been shipped to
date.
