“We are committed to providing our customers
state-of-the-art services along with a level of personalized support that only
a locally based service company can deliver,” said Richard Wardell,
Network Manager at TCT.
Entone
allows TCT to effectively utilize its broadband infrastructure to deliver what
has been promised in an IPTV solution and to offer differentiated services in a
competitive market environment.
Entone’s FusionTV solution offers Pay TV subscribers the
best of live HDTV, DVR and cloud-based services via a single TV input, remote
control, and user interface.
The IPTV Edition of FusionTV is optimized for Entone’s
Amulet IPTV DVR and Janus Media Hub. When combined with FusionTV, these devices
provide access to a vast library of content and cloud-based services, such as
video on demand (VOD) content from VUDU, Internet radio from Pandora, photo
sharing from Flickr and Picasa, and social media via Facebook and Twitter.
“By seamlessly blending live TV and over-the-top
(OTT) services, TCT is providing a differentiated entertainment experience that
will make it more valuable to its consumer base. We expect a byproduct of the
improved value of the service to increase subscriber growth and retention, the
ultimate objectives of Entone’s partnership with our customers,” said
Ameer Karim, VP of Hybrid TV Solutions at Entone.
