Teledyne LeCroy unveils new signal analysis solutions

Teledyne LeCroy has announced the availability of its newly launched PAM4 Signal Analysis software, LabMaster 10 Zi-A, WaveMaster 8 Zi-B and QPHY-USB 3.1 end to end test package.

The new PAM4 Signal Analysis software is the industry’s first PAM4 analysis tool for real time oscilloscopes which makes essential eye, jitter and noise measurements on all three eye openings of a PAM4 signal.

For each of the three eye openings, the PAM4 Signal Analysis software determines the eye opening, jitter and noise as function of bit error ratio (BER) and decomposes the jitter and noise into deterministic and random components using algorithms to give a full accounting of the jitter and noise behavior.

Teledyne LeCroy also offers a complete line of USB 3.1 test solutions covering transmitter (Tx), receiver (Rx), characterization and debug which can be performed on both Gen1 ( 5Gb/s) and Gen2 (10 Gb/s)devices under test according to the latest USB 3.1 specifications.

Tx testing is performed using a high bandwidth 16Ghz oscilloscopes while Rx testing is performed using the protocol enabled receiver and transmitter tolerance tester (PeRT3).

The test also includes the Voyager M310C protocol analyzer and the SPARQ network analyzer.

Teledyne LeCroy has also introduced New LabMaster and WaveMaster Oscilloscopes for testing next generation high speed electrical and optical links.

The new LabMaster 10 Zi-A delivers improved performance in effective number of bits and baselines noise along with the industry leading jitter measurement floor whereas WaveMaster 8 Zi-B features increased sample rate, lower noise, enhanced processing capabilities and the latest version of company’s advanced oscilloscope user interface (MAUI).

The new LabMaster 10 Zi-A will show significant improvements in signal fidelity and noise performance and WaveMaster 8 Zi-B has enhanced the capabilities with lower noise, higher sampling rates, deeper acquisition memory and the next generation of Teledyne Lecroy’s MAUI oscilloscopes user interface.

PAM4 Signal Analysis is available for $9,990. QPHY USB 3.1 Tx-Rx is available for $8,000, oscilloscopes capable and PeRT3 capable of testing USB 3.1 starts at $158,900 and $182,000 respectively.

LabMaster 10 Zi-A and WaveMaster 8 Zi-B are available starting at $215,885 and $75,600 respectively.

Last month, Teledyne Lecroy  also announced the MDA800 series of Motor Drive Analysers (MDAs).
