U.S. Cellular announces two new vice president positions

Telecom Lead America: United States Cellular, a mobile
operator in the U.S, has named Lynn Costlow as vice president of multi-channel
strategy and operations of the company.

Under this new role, Costlow will guide efforts to
strengthen existing channels, create coordination across all channels, and
create a seamless and integrated customer experience across all customer-facing
channels.

 

Costlow will be reporting to Carter S. Elenz, executive
vice president, sales and customer service.

 

Carter S. Elenz said that Lynn’s past experience
positions her to build and guide this new function.

 

Costlow joined U.S. Cellular in 2005 as senior director
of sales operations and most recently served as vice president, customer
service.

 

In addition, the company has promoted Nancy Fratzke to
vice president of customer care centers. Nancy’s promotion will come into
effect from September 10.

 

 Fratzke will be responsible for delivering the
company’s customer satisfaction strategy at each of the five customer care
centers.

 

Under her new role, Fratzke will lead the more than 2,000
associates at these care centers and will report to Elenz.

 

Speaking on the promotion of Fratzke, Elenz commented
that Nancy ensures that U.S. Cellular associates aim to deliver on this
commitment every day at every consumer interaction.

 

Fratzke joined U.S. Cellular in 1999 as a customer
service representative and has held a variety of positions, including customer
care center senior director, director of sales and interim regional vice
president.

 

U.S. Cellular selects Gemalto for LTE deployment

 

A few months back, U.S. Cellular selected Gemalto’s
LinqUs Advanced Connectivity solution for its 4G/LTE service launch.
