Telecom Lead India: Viacom18 Media has selected HP Networking solutions to build network infrastructure at its new headquarters in Mumbai.
HP said the new technology will streamline communications between offices and provide employees with on-demand access to media-rich content.
With more than 700 employees, Viacom18 consolidated its three offices in Mumbai and moved its headquarters into a new building.
This larger office required a strong network infrastructure to manage communication with other offices in Bangalore and New Delhi, while enabling on-demand access to information and HD digital content for employees.
HP FlexNetwork architecture, a core component of HP Converged Infrastructure, will offer scalability across the network with high bandwidth capabilities and simplified management.
“Scalability is important to help support future business growth as we experience increasing amounts of high-definition digital content on the network,” said Yogesh Butala, manager for information systems, Viacom18.
