Wipro M2M solution helps communications service providers tap
M2M market opportunity
Earlier in March Wipro Technologies announced the launch of Wipro M2M, designed to
enable Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to launch Machine-to-Machine
(M2M) services quickly and cost effectively.
M2M is a potential area of investment for CSPs. It offers a new revenue generation
opportunity for CSPs challenged with declining ARPUs due to competition.
However, M2M deployment offers several challenges to providers due to several
reasons including the paucity of robust enterprise applications, highly complex
network and device ecosystem, and long lead times for deployment.
