allmaxx selects YOOSE for location-based consumer targeting expertise


YOOSE, a hyper-local mobile ad network, announced that it
was selected by allmaxx, Germany’s largest students’ club, to bring the allmaxx
brand and business model into the mobile space via a dedicated app for the
benefit of their 200,000 student members.


The allmaxx club offers students access to exclusive
discounts, deals and even cash-back offers from a 3,000-strong partner network
of online suppliers such as Apple and Sony, as well as a broad spectrum of
offline local businesses and independent outlets.


The student generation we market to live in a mobile
world where the majority of their communications, information and entertainment
is accessed and enjoyed through a mobile device. We knew we could bring
significant new value to their allmaxx membership by developing a
location-based mobile solution that would assist them in making the most of
local offers whilst they were on-the-move. We turned to the hyper-local
consumer engagement experts, YOOSE, to help us achieve that by translating our
brand into the mobile arena,” said Michael Walser, MD of allmaxx .


YOOSE
developed the branded location-based deal-finding app as a white-label solution
and has successfully brought the allmaxx deal base into the mobile space and
created a smooth path for future real-time deal translation as new offers
become available. 


The allmaxx app, which is now available on IOS and
Android, the two largest mobile operating systems in Germany, allows users to
search and display offers and coupons in their vicinity for redemption
in-store.


Crucially, early response from the membership base has
been overwhelmingly positive. We can measure the success of the project based
on user engagement and response,” said Christian Geissendoerfer, CEO of YOOSE.


Members say it’s incredibly easy and intuitive to use
and they have been quick to adopt the app making it central to their allmaxx
membership experience,” Geissendoerfer added.

 

The enthusiasm from members will be put to good use as it
creates a new conversation between the club and its membership base as to
ongoing development of the app and the allmaxx presence in the mobile space.
