Antenna’s Krakow Technology Center was founded in late
2005, by the UK-based mobile web software company Volantis Systems, acquired by
Antenna in January 2011.
At its inception, the facility had five employees, but
steadily added resources and capabilities as mobile web usage grew, fuelled by
the adoption of Apple iPhone and Google Android smartphones and the consumer
appetite for mobile content.
In July 2011, Antenna hired its 100th employee
and plans to continue to expand its Krakow team significantly over the next
12-18 months as demand for its services increases.
In addition to Krakow, Antenna’s key technology centers
are located in Jersey City, Boston, Toronto and Bangalore. All provide mobile
and domain expertise for Antenna’s enterprise customers in the financial
services, retail, consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, transportation and
life sciences industries.
Currently, Antenna’s global partners include AT&T,
Cognizant, Korea Telecom, Verizon Business and Verizon Wireless among numerous
others. With strong growth of mobile payments and mobile apps predicted in
Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), forging new strategic relationships and
go-to-market plans with local mobile operators and system integrators out of
the Krakow office will be critical to meet expected consumer demand.
The Antenna Mobility Platform (AMP) offers a complete,
end-to-end mobility solution for both enterprises and mobile operators, uniquely
addressing both B2E and B2C requirements and providing full support for the
widest range of mobile devices, platforms and networks.
With AMP, businesses can build, publish and manage their
native apps and mobile web content on any device, anywhere in the world.
Leading companies the world over are deploying mobile apps and mobile web
content from Antenna for a better way to manage their teams, engage with their
customers, elevate their brand and transform their business.
