BlueTrain Mobile unveils mobile website for retail systems research

BlueTrain Mobile, a
provider of mobile websites, announced the launch of a mobile website for
Retail Systems Research (RSR).

The website will allow users to access information about
RSR from the convenience of their mobile devices without the hassle of zooming
or dealing with pages that don’t work on mobile browsers.

Websites optimized for mobile devices have become
increasingly important in capturing new business opportunities. In fact, global
mobile traffic grew 260 percent in 2010, nearly tripling for the third year in
a row. The website can be viewed at Retail Systems Research on iPhone and
Android devices.

RSR provides cutting edge business and technology insight
for the retail industry. As a thought leader in the industry, RSR decided to
create a mobile website that will enable users to access key research, news,
and information about the company anywhere, anytime. RSR also plans to
incorporate QR codes into upcoming presentations, enabling conference attendees
to conveniently link to the RSR mobile website.

“We tell retailers all the time that they need to be
where their customers are. Well, so do we,” said Nikki Baird, managing
partner at RSR Research. “We’re particularly excited about the opportunity
to do some mobile-specific things with our content, to really take advantage of
a mobile-optimized platform. When our clients and subscribers want to look for
our content on their mobile phones, we’ll be there.”

Mobile searches rose 500 percent in the last year
according to Michael Slinger, Director of Mobile in the America’s at Google.
It’s clear that there’s a strong demand for mobile websites and we’re excited
that Retail Systems Research chose BlueTrain Mobile to build their mobile
website,” said Steffan Berelowitz, BlueTrain Mobile’s Conductor and CEO.
