Based on the
extremely positive feedback about Citibank for iPad from our bank customers and
their extensive use of the app’s unique account analysis tools, we set out to
offer credit card customers that same advanced access to mobile financial
management, and now we have,” said Tracey Weber, head of internet and mobile
banking, North America consumer banking, Citi.
The Citibank
for iPad App offers a platform and tools that help users visualize and analyze
their accounts and make it easier for them to manage their finances.
The app
enables customers to plan cash outflows with the help of an interactive chart
of past and future payments and transfers. Also, it allows user to analyze
personal spending habits through automatically generated, customizable charts
of payee spending.
With this app
customers can compare personal spending habits with general consumer data,
filtering by location, age group, and income bracket and purchase category.
Citi is the
only major U.S. bank to offer direct access to its Twitter customer support
option via its tablet app, now consumers can also use the app to reach customer
service directly.
The bank said
that banking customers will also see improvements in this upgraded version of
the app, as it enables them to see front-and-back images of checks.
Few months
back, Parkmobile USA, a provider of cashless parking solutions, selected Citi to
offer new, more comprehensive mobile payment services to Parkmobile’s
customers.
