Telecom Lead India: Mobile VAS player Comviva has selected HP Software to help manage operations of its mobile value added services in Africa.
At present, Comviva provides mobile VAS and financial solutions to more than 130 operators and financial institutions in over 90 countries.
Comviva, in which Tech Mahindra picked up 51 percent equity stake, has selected HP Operations Manager software to meet the demand for value added service offerings and to consolidate its position in the African market.
HP software enables Comviva to improve its ability to manage customers’ service experience. Moreover, HP Operations Manager software will provide performance monitoring and analysis of IT assets, to establish a Global Network Operations Center (GNOC). Further, Comviva’s GNOC will provide real-time visibility into its operations, including the ability to monitor service levels across the network.
