GREE announced its business partnership with SK telecom,
Korea’s mobile carrier, for application sharing and business promotion.

 

As the largest mobile carrier in Korea, SK telecom
adopted communication systems such as CDMA, 3G CDMA and 3.5G HSDPA in the past,
and has had leading success in the 4G market.

 

The company has over 50 percent market share in Korea’s
total mobile market, with a user base of 26 million. It also operates “T
store”, the first app store service in Korea which was launched in
September 2009.

 

As the first initiative in the business partnership, GREE
will open a special section within “T store” that provides social
gaming titles by GREE.

 

GREE
will continue to provide the leading mobile social gaming ecosystem for users
around the world, by creating high-quality content in collaboration with
established global partners, and enable deeper person to person interaction
within games.

 

In addition to these global business plans, the new
partnership will play a particularly crucial role in helping GREE’s expansion
to Korea.
