HCPlexus launches tlbb Mobile 1.9

HCPlexus, a publisher of the little blue book and its
mobile application, tlbb Mobile announced the availability of tlbb Mobile 1.9.

More than 200,000 physicians per year trust and use the
little blue book to find the information they need to help their patients.

With today’s release of tlbb Mobile 1.9, doctors can
access that same valued information via iPhone and BlackBerry smartphone. tlbb
Mobile is a real-time, regularly updated mobile application that allows
physicians to make fast referrals, consult with colleagues, call hospitals and
pharmacies with one click, access insurance information, and look up listings
even without cell service giving physicians more time with their patients.

“the little blue book has always been a frequently used
and timesaving resource in our practice. With so many changes in the practice
of medicine, having fast, easy access to updated referral data is critical. The
tlbb Mobile application does just that and gives me the information wherever
and whenever I need it,” said Martin Perlin, MD.

Today, approximately three-quarters of physicians use
smart phones. tlbb Mobile is accessible on the iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and
BlackBerry devices. Physicians can download a freemium version at the Apple App Store or atfor BlackBerry devices.

The freemium offering includes a complete list of local
family and general practitioners, internal med, pediatric and OB/GYN docs, as
well as pharmacy, hospital and health plan data for up to five geographic
regions.

“When we surveyed our database of physicians, we
learned that they wanted a mobile application to complement the little blue
book print directory they’ve relied on for more than 23 years,” said Peter
Giallorenzo, CEO of HCPlexus.
