Mobile World Congress 2012: TomTom expands real time traffic products to five more countries in EU

TomTom, a global supplier of
location and navigation products and services, announced expansion of
coverage of its portfolio of real time traffic products for licensing customers
to include the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

 

With this expansion, the total number of countries
offering TomTom real-time traffic products has become 23.

 

The service is now available in Australia, Austria,
Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland,
Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal,
South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United
States. Additional countries will become available throughout 2012.

 

TomTom real time traffic products can make a significant impact across a range
of industries as either stand-alone traffic monitoring and reporting systems,
or they can be incorporated into navigation solutions and routing tools.

 

TomTom customers in automotive, wireless and enterprise
markets will have access to the most accurate, comprehensive and up-to-date
traffic information available globally.

TomTom and AutoNavi to market real-time traffic in
China

Recently TomTom and AutoNavi, a provider of digital
map content and navigation and location-based solutions in China, entered into
a joint venture to introduce HD Traffic, a premium real-time traffic
solution, to drivers across China.
