Nuance Communications announced that its Dragon Dictation
and Dragon Search apps are continuing their global expansion with support for Dutch
and availability for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch on the App Store in The
Netherlands.
Now Dutch-speaking users in The Netherlands, and all
other countries where the Dragon Apps are available, can quickly and easily
speak text for SMS messages, emails, social media updates, mobile Internet
searches and more, up to five times faster than typing.
The Dragon Apps are based on the Dragon NaturallySpeaking platform, and have been downloaded by
millions around the world, hitting the number one and number two spots among
free Apple apps in every region available.
In fact, Dutch is fifteenth language supported by the
Dragon Apps, and the Netherlands is the seventeenth country where they are
available both accomplished in just the last year.

mobile voice capabilities. This latest foray into The Netherlands with support
for Dutch further demonstrates our commitment to bringing the power of voice to

Dragon Dictation is iOS-4 compatible and features a
pop-up toolbar with app icons for easy access to Email, SMS, Facebook or
Twitter status bars, or the clipboard. Dragon Dictation also includes a
convenient Auto Save function that retains dictated text when the user is
interrupted by an incoming phone call. And with multilingual capabilities, all
Dragon app users are able to easily switch between supported languages as they
come available.
Dragon Search for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, also now
available on the Dutch App Store, allowing users to simply speak any search
query to quickly and easily find information and answers on the mobile Web.
Dragon Search is the only app to feature Nuance’s unique
and innovative Dragon Search Carousel, which delivers faster, smarter search
results within seconds across multiple channels all at once, including Google
or Bing!, iTunes, Twitter, Wikipedia and YouTube.
