Telecom Lead Europe: Vidyo, a provider of personal
telepresence and AMD Global Telemedicine, a supplier of medical technology for
clinical telemedicine have entered into a partnership for the integration of
Vidyo’s software-based solution with AMD’s telemedicine platform.
The combined solution will enable healthcare providers to
enjoy an intuitive and comprehensive point-of-care solution.

need of a solution that offered both access and mobility for physicians to use
from wherever they happen to be, without sacrificing quality,” said Dan

The comprehensive solution covers AGNES information
aggregation system, and tConsult Encounter Management Software that are equipped
with device management, case creation, work flow and archival tools.

productivity of healthcare professionals but will also enable quicker and more
informed diagnoses and decisions and allow visual communications,” said

The integrated solution will simplify the work flow for
physicians, providing them with a single user interface that integrates visual
communication with information from medical devices and medical records.
Vidyo said its Healthcare solution is a versatile
video collaboration platform with APIs that allow companies such as AMD Global
to provide healthcare professionals with easy access to high-quality,
cost-effective video communications on a variety of off-the-shelf devices such
as laptops, smartphones, desktops and tablets via the Internet, 3G/4G and other
general IP networks.
