Webtech Wireless announces senior executive appointments

 

Webtech Wireless, a provider of vehicle fleet
location-based services (LBS) and telematics technology, announced the
appointment of Karen Mongelli to the position of vice president of Government
Sales and Account Management, and the appointment of David Greer to the newly
created position of vice president of marketing.

 

Mongelli joins Webtech Wireless
after a successful seventeen year career with Canada’s largest privately held
fleet management company, where she rose through a variety of positions in
sales, account management and operations, eventually leading a 100 person team
as director of operations.

 

Mongelli’s strong experience in all aspects of fleet
management and in selling to, and operating with government clients in her
career will stand her in good stead as she leads the Webtech Wireless
government business under the InterFleet brand from the company’s Toronto
office.

 

David Greer is an accomplished technology executive with
more than 30 years of experience in building successful technologies and
technology companies. He is the former owner of Robelle Solutions Technology, a
company he sold in 2001, and which was the world’s leading provider of HP 3000
solutions during his tenure as president.

 

Since then, Greer has been a consultant to a number of
technology companies in the Vancouver area, focusing on turning ideas into
products, messaging and results. Greer will be based in the company’s Vancouver
headquarters.

 

In addition, the Company is announcing the appointment of
two regional business managers, Michael Harris to be based in Chicago and Scott
Swank to be based in Atlanta. Harris joins the company from a high performance
career with a leading provider of transport industry process documentation, services
and logistics solutions.

 

Swank joins Webtech after proven success with positions
in Sales and as a Regional Executive in the Commercial Insurance and Risk
Analysis space as well as most recently leading sales for a regional telematics
company.

 

Mongelli, Greer, Swank and Harris will be reporting to
Harald Fritz, vice president of Sales and Marketing, Webtech Wireless.
