Elecom to launch a slew of new products in Indian telecom market

By Telecom Lead Team: Elecom, a market leader in PC,
AV, smart phone and tablet accessories in Japan, will launch a number of
products in the Indian mobile market soon.

Elecom will launch miniature sized wireless laser mice in
India.

These baby beans use a 2.4GHz wireless communication system that is resistant
to noise and interference, and they can be used over a wide range of distances,
on non-magnetic surfaces up to approximately 10m, and on magnetic surfaces such
as steel desks up to approximately 3m (based on in-house testing).

With a resolution of 1200dpi, they allow you to use the
mouse very smoothly over a great variety of environments. At first sight they
may simply look cute and tiny, but these wireless mice actually provide a very
high range of functionality.

The receiver unit has been designed to be ultra-small, in the size of a 1 yen
coin. It has been designed to provide a lot of fun, with its color and shape
matching those of the mouse so that it blends seamlessly into the shape of the
bean. Its ultra-small size allows it to be discretely connected to your
notebook PC’s USB port, and can even be left connected while on the move. It
can also be stored away into the base of the mouse.

Elecom founding president Junji Hada will be sharing
the company’s plans for India.

Recently, the ELECOM Experience World, a combined shop
and showroom, was opened through the ELECOM India Channel Sales Partner in
Nehru Place, Delhi on January 14, 2012, with a view to increasing brand
recognition and expanding their business in India. It is ELECOM’s first
showroom with its brand name.

Around 500 products are planned to be featured in the
opening period, including smartphone peripherals and accessories, tablet PC
accessories, and audiovisual goods, and there are plans to further expand the
lineup in the future.
