iPhone 4S arrives in China on January 13

Apple announced that iPhone 4S will be available in China
and 21 additional countries from Friday, January 13, 2012.


Customer response to our products in China has been off
the charts. With the launch in China next week, iPhone 4S will be available in
over 90 countries making this our fastest iPhone rollout ever,” said Tim Cook,
Apple‘s
CEO.


iPhone 4S will be available in Anguilla, Antigua and
Barbuda, Bolivia, Botswana, British Virgin Islands, Cameroon, Cayman Islands,
Central African Republic, China, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador,
Grenada, Guam, Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Jamaica, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali,
Mauritius, Niger, Senegal, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago,
Turks and Caicos and Uganda.


Apple’s IPhone 4S broke all the previous records of
IPhone series, and smashed the company’s previous single day sales record by
more than 66 percent. In terms of first day pre-orders, the iPhone 4S is the
most successful product Apple has ever released. Apple sold more than 4
million iPhone 4S devices in the first weekend on the market.


The 4S features a multiband (GSM/ GPRS/EDGE, CDMA, HSDPA,
HSPA+, and 1x EV-DO) RF transceiver, meaning the same basic device can operate
on almost any carrier.


Apart from having glass-finish sleek look, iPhone 4S also
provides integration of many services to its customers. Services like Apple’s
iTunes and App Store, as well as iCloud can all be accessed by consumers on
iPhone 4S. Users can also engage in a video chat via FaceTime with friends on
other mobile products or Macs.


iPhone 4S comes in either black or white for a suggested
retail price of $199 (US) for the 16GB model, $299 (US) for the 32GB model and
$399 (US) for the new 64GB model.
