MAXX Mobiles unveils phones with noise-free conversations capability

MAXX Mobiles unveiled the innovative series of KHAMOSHHH
handsets. The range includes two handsets, a bar phone, MAXX MX401 and a QWERTY
handset, MAXX MQ601.

Users can enjoy crystal voice calls thanks to the SAM
technology that curtails external background noise. SAM technology employs an
innovative signal processing technique to suppress ambient noises and to
eliminate echoes. The phones come with a dedicated key to activate the Noise
Suppression feature. The level of noise suppression desired can be pre-set
through the Call Settings menu.

The MAXX MX401, a bar phone, is economically priced at
INR 2833. Powered by 1500 mAh battery, the MAXX MX401 comes with a talk time of
up to 5.5 hours along with a standby time of up to 450 hours.

The dual-SIM handset packs in multimedia functions, with
support for MP3/WAV/AAC audio and 3GPP/AVI/MP4 video player. Available in two
colours, Yellow and Blue, the handset features a 2.0 MP camera, a 2.4″ TFT
screen, big speakers, FM Radio (with FM scheduling ) and allows on-the-go
browsing through the Opera Mini Browser.

Our conversations are never without the hustle-bustle of
everyday life. Crowded restaurants, busy offices, chaotic commutes make it
difficult to have a quiet conversation. In India, where there is still a very
high preference and dependence on voice calls, we believe feature-rich yet
affordably priced Khamoshhh”¦ series is the perfect device for an Indian
audience,” said Ajjay Agarwal, chairman and managing director, MAXX Group.

MAXX MX401 & MQ601 will be made available across
India through MAXX Mobiles’ widespread distribution network. MAXX has its
presence in about 25,000 retailers across India through its strong dealer
distribution network supported by more than 500 after sales service centers.
The modern retail outlets through which MAXX sells its brand of mobile phones
and accessories include Planet M, Tata Croma, Hyper City, Star Bazar, Mobile
& Gadgets, Indian Naval Canteen, Kings Electronics, Hotspot, Reliance Web
World and NEXT electronics.
