Samsung America launches Galaxy S III with T-Mobile, more operators to join by coming weeks

Telecom Lead America: Samsung Telecommunications America has officially launched Galaxy S III smartphone in
the U.S with T-Mobile network.

Other network operators such as AT&T, Sprint, Verizon
Wireless and U.S. Cellular will be offering Galaxy S III over their networks
within the next several weeks, the company said.

Samsung America has also announced that its is celebrating the
Galaxy S III launch by donating $1.5 million to benefit the World Wildlife
Fund.

The smartphone major is supported the launch by the largest
and most innovative marketing and advertising campaign ever conducted in the
U.S.

 Samsung is rewarding new owners with premium content
via Samsung Share-to-Go Stations across the nation at no cost. The
company will be launching an interactive cinema 3D game experience at theaters
across the country.

Samsung has also introduced Beacon, a mobile-only magazine
and content hub that will offer daily news and features curated from more than
1,000 sources across the Web, as well as exclusive stories and downloadable
content in the form of music, video, and e-books and magazines.

Once again, we are putting the ‘Next Big Thing’ in
consumers’ hands. The Galaxy S III introduces a completely new way of sharing
and socializing that no other mobile phone can,” said Dale Sohn, president of
Samsung Telecommunications.

Despite Apple suit, Galaxy S III U.S. launch to go ahead:
Samsung

Earlier, Apple filed a sales injunction request for Galaxy
SIII to a U.S. court. However, Samsung said the smartphone Galaxy S III will go
on sale in the U.S. market as planned.

In an official statement, the company said that it believes
Apples request is without merit.  The company will vigorously oppose the
request.

Samsung introduces Galaxy S III at Rs 43,180 in India

Recently, Samsung unveiled the Samsung Galaxy S3 which has
been priced at Rs 43,180 in India.
