ZTE in pact with China Telecom to unveil LTE version of Qing Yang 2 smartphone

Chinese mobile network vendor ZTE has tied up with China Telecom to unveil the 4G LTE version of its Qing Yang 2 smartphone.

Priced at RMB 1,599, the new Qing Yang 2 supports FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE 4G networks to deliver data transmission rates of up to 150Mbps on China Telecom network.

ZTE said the new Qing Yang 2 features Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8926 1.2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM memory, 1280×720 display, 5-inch IPS touch-screen, 8 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel front camera, GPSS and Glonass, etc.

The new Qing Yang 2 supports more than 10 advanced photography features including 88° wide-angled shooting, intelligent tracking and 4cm macro-shooting.

“The new Qing Yang 2 will help drive the growth of the 4G market in China,” said Adam Zeng, CEO of ZTE Mobile Devices.

The previous Qing Yang 2 registered more than 2 million pre-orders in the first seven days after it was launched earlier this year.

The new Qing Yang 2 is pre-installed with Xiang Gan Ma app that will dynamically provide users with personalized suggestions of trending topics and applications, bringing an intuitive and intelligent user experience to consumers.

There are also enhanced connectivity options that allow users to connect their new Qing Yang 2 to USB drives and cameras, said ZTE.
