Karbonn and Innominds unveil 3G tablet in India powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon

Telecom Lead India: Innominds and Karbonn have unveiled a 3G tablet powered by Qualcomm Technologies at Innovation Qualcomm India 2012.

Karbonn AGNEE is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. Leveraging a QTI Reference Design (QRD) based on QTI’s Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM 7x27A processor, this 3G tablet has been designed and developed in India by Innominds.

The Karbonn AGNEE, powered by QTI’s 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, has a 7 inch screen, HDMI, 3G HSPA, Android ICS OS, and a 4000 mAh Li-Polymer battery.

The tablet is targeted at the education sector with preloaded applications for education-based content and services that provides a collaborative learning experience for students. Innominds aims to come up with future designs adapted for retail and other industry verticals, leveraging QRD, the company said.

Innominds has successfully designed and developed this indigenous 3G tablet for Karbonn, based on a QRD which utilizes QTI’s Qualcomm Snapdragon S1 MSM7x27A processor.
