Lava brings QPAD e704 tablet for Rs 9,999 targeting enterprises

Indian smartphone vendor Lava International on Friday announced the QPAD e704 3G voice calling tablet for a price of Rs 9,999 – targeting young working professionals and enterprise segment.

Flipkart, an ecommerce channel – is taking pre-orders for the tablet for the same price.

QPAD e704, a dual SIM 3G tablet, features 1.2 GHz quad core Broadcom processor, 7-inch multi-touch capacitive IPS display with 1024X600 resolution, Android Jelly bean 4.2.2 OS, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB, 3.2 MP rear and a 0.3MP front camera.

Lava today said QPAD e704 supports 3G voice, data and video calls.

Connectivity options of the latest the tablet include Wi-Fi, 3G connectivity, Bluetooth, EDGE and 2G.

A 3,500 mAh battery will provide up to 300 hours of standby time and 10 hours talk time, Lava said on Friday. Its optimized power management module increases the battery life by at least 40 percent to Indian tablet users.

Youth-centric productivity and security apps and games like WeChat, Viber, Asphalt 7 HD and NQ Anti-virus are part of the new tablet.

QPAD e704 scores 32 fps on Basemark ES 2.0 Taiji that testifies superior graphics experience on the device backed by Videocore IV GPU. It also scores highly on web browsing benchmarks Vellamo (HTML – 2192, Metal – 677) and Google V8 (2672).
