Zync brings voice calling with a new 3G-enabled ICS tablet

Telecom Lead India: Zync Global, a Delhi-NCR based tablet
maker, has unveiled a new Android 4.0 ICS-based tablet with voice calling and
3G namely Zync Z-999 plus, which is priced at Rs 11,990.

The new tablet boasts a 7-inch LED screen with an 800 x
480 pixel resolution along with a 1.5GZ single core ARM Cortex A8 processor and
512 MB RAM.

 

The tablet offers onboard SIM slot for 3G calling and
data connectivity. Weighing 340 gm, the tablet comes with 4200 mAh battery
along with an inbuilt Wi-Fi for file transfer.

 

The Zync Z-999 plus has a 2 mega pixel back camera and
VGA front camera for video chat. It is equipped with a HD video playback
support, HDMI support, 8GB iNand memory expandable to 32GB, keyboard support
function and has an inbuilt 3G sim card slot.

 

The company said that the new tablet will be available
across 22 states and e-commerce websites. Zync is also offering a one year
comprehensive warranty for the tablet and also a pick up and drop facility in
case there is a problem that occurs while using the device.

 

We were the first players to launch a low-cost tablet on
Android 4.0. The response from our customer base for our earlier models Z-909
plus, Z-990 and Z-990 plus has been outstanding and we are catering to the
student community and education institutions at large,” said Ashish Garg,
director, Zync Global.

 

Zync claims that has sold over 1, 00,000 units in just 6
months. The company aims to sell 0.5 million units by 2013.

 

Zync unveils cheapest Android 4.0 tablet for Rs 8990

 

Recently, Zync launched India’s first tablet running on
Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Zync Z-990, priced at Rs
