CommScope appoints Jeff White as chief commercial officer

CommScope announced the appointment of Jeff White as chief commercial officer to lead a global organization of more than 2,000 professionals that includes direct and indirect sales, sales enablement and marketing.

CommScope earlier said its total sales fell 18 percent to $2.03 billion in the first quarter of 2020 primarily due to the contribution of $1.03 billion from the ARRIS acquisition.

CommScope generated revenue of $766.7 million from broadband, $824.2 million from home, $390.8 million from outdoor wireless and $499 million from venue and campus business.

Jeff White will be responsible for the development and growth of CommScope’s sales and marketing operations to meet strategic business initiatives. Jeff White is tasked with executing on CommScope’s growth strategy while evolving its go-to-market channels and more deeply aligning sales and marketing activities.

“CommScope is reaching more service provider and enterprise customers than ever as we build upon our long-term sales and partner relationships,” said President and Chief Executive Officer, Eddie Edwards.

Jeff White joins CommScope from Here Technologies, a location services platform company, where he served as chief customer officer in Amsterdam and oversaw a complete go-to-market transformation.

Previously, Jeff White was chief revenue officer for Syniverse and Extreme Networks and held several leadership roles with Cisco Systems including senior vice president/president of India – Bangalore.
