CommScope to demonstrate its bandwidth-enabling portfolio at The Cable Show in Boston

Telecom Lead America: CommScope, a global provider
of infrastructure solutions for communications networks has announced that it
will showcase its complete bandwidth-enabling portfolio, including its
Universal Wideband Edge QAM solution during the Cable Show in
Boston.

Furthermore, CommScope announced that it will demonstrate
how operators can maximize their networks’ performance and efficiency by
implementing bandwidth-enhancing technology, intelligent networking, and energy
conservation and management solutions.

Advanced technology, intelligence and energy solutions
from CommScope help operators provide their customers with today’s advanced
services while preparing for future demands,” said Ric Johnsen, senior vice
president, Broadband, CommScope.

The company said that its Universal Wideband Edge QAM solution maximizes a network’s flexibility,
allowing operators to roll out their existing voice, video and data services.

In addition, the silutionalso supports higher bandwidth
and next-generation services over hybrid fiber coax networks without the need
for additional hardware or service disruptions. It is designed to reduce power
consumption in headend/hub environments through consolidation of equipment.

During the show, the company will advise operators on how
to add intelligence into their networks. The company added that the deployment
of intelligent solutions allows operators to make adjustments to parameters,
improving network performance and increasing overall operational efficiency.

CommScope also will explain how to also deploy
solutions that help reduce energy consumption and provide clean backup
power at hub site locations.
