D-Link launched new 3G products that include an exclusive range of portable Wi-Fi devices namely – D – Link Le Petit Mini USB Router (DWR-510), D-Link DWR-131 Ethernet Router & D-Link myPocket DIR-456U 3.75G HSUPA Router.

D-Link DWR-510 – ‘Le Petit’ is a Mini 3.75G USB Router (DWR-510) that offer users with maximum convenience and portability, delivering mobile download speeds of 7.2 Mbps. In areas without wireless access, the mobile routers deliver concurrent Internet connectivity for devices like iPads, smartphones and laptops, all through a single mobile connection with 3.75G High Speed Uplink Packet Access (HSUPA).

 

 

 

At around the size of a conventional dongle, the Mini 3G 7.2 Mbps USB Router, DWR-510 combines a 3.75G modem and Wi-Fi router in a single compact device. By plugging it into a USB power source, such as a laptop, customers can enjoy immediate mobile access to a 3G service network. However, by simply flicking a switch the router changes function to become a Wireless N router, allowing Internet access for nearby Wi-Fi capable devices like iPhone, Portable Gaming Device, PSP, Smart Phone, Notebook, Digital Camera.

 

 

 

 

D-Link DWR-131 – D-Link DWR-131 is a Portable 3G Ethernet Router that provides users with all the flexibility of mobile broadband access. With a 1700mAh battery, simply plug in a compatible 3G dongle to take advantage of 3.1 Mbps download speeds on the move or connect to a fixed line to allow Internet access for nearby Wi-Fi capable devices. This router is great for situations where an impromptu wireless network must be set up, or wherever conventional network access is unavailable. The DWR-131 allows commuters to connect to the Internet and check e-mail or chat online while travelling by bus or train.

Once connected, users can enjoy data transmission and media streaming on-the-go. Simply insert UMTS/HSUPA SIM card, and share 3.75G Internet connection through a secure 802.11g wireless network. With this router one can enjoy a download speed of up to 7.2Mbps.
