Keysight revenue jumps 11% to $1.4 bn in Q4 driven by 5G

Keysight Technologies reported financial results for the fourth fiscal quarter and fiscal year ended October 31, 2022.

Keysight’s revenue grew 11 percent to $1.44 billion in the fourth quarter, compared with $1.29 billion last year.

Keysight has generated revenue of $681 million (+10 percent) from Commercial Communications, $311 million (+4 percent) from Aerospace, Defense & Government and $451 million (+20 percent) from Electronic Industrial Solutions business.

Keysight said Asia Pacific region generates 43 percent or $618 million of its revenue, while 41 percent or $594 million is from Americas and 16 percent or $231 million is from Europe.

Keysight’s revenue grew 10 percent to $5.42 billion in fiscal year, compared with $4.94 billion last year, or 12 percent on a core basis.

Keysight’s Communications Solutions Group (CSG) reported revenue of $992 million in fourth quarter, up 8 percent over last year, driven by 5G platform strength, O-RAN adoption, and investment in 800G and 1.6 Terabit R&D, as well as spectrum operations, cybersecurity, space, and satellite solutions. CSG reported growth across all regions.

Keysight’s Electronic Industrial Solutions Group (EISG) reported revenue of $451 million in the fourth quarter, up 20 percent over last year, driven by next-generation automotive and energy technologies, general electronics, and semiconductor solutions. EISG reported growth across all regions.

Outlook

Keysight’s first fiscal quarter of 2023 revenue is expected to be in the range of $1.36 billion to $1.38 billion.
