MTI Wireless Edge to showcase 60GHz and 80GHz bands parabolic dish antennas

By Telecom Lead Team: MTI Wireless Edge, a developer of
antenna solutions for Wireless Networking and RFID applications, has expanded
its product line of low cost directional antennas with the launch of 71-86GHz
43dBi and 50dBi dish antennas.

The launch covers the licensed and unlicensed
Point-to-Point 60/80GHz bands applications.

The company will showcase these antennas at the Mobile
World Congress 2012 together with the current antenna portfolio that includes a
large selection of single and dual polarity directional antennas with different
gains for PtP wireless systems and backhaul.

The company added that all antennas are built to
withstand the toughest electrical and environmental requirements according
international standards such as ETSI while maintaining low cost.

The company will also exhibit new antenna products for
LTE and Small Cell Backhaul such as 5GHz Triple Polarization Outdoor Antenna
(802.11n), 3.5 and 5 GHz 2 foot Dual Polarization / Dual Slant Dish Antenna and
2.4, 4.9 & 5.8 GHz Triple Band Antennas.

“We are already shipping a high volume of these
60/80GHz antennas to various customers and we strongly believe in the future of
this band as a cost effective solution for the telecommunication infrastructure
market,” said Dov Feiner, CEO & president, MTI Wireless Edge.

MTI made a major investment in its test and production
facilities and is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment to support
challenges involved with the E-Bands up to 90GHz. All MTI E-Bands antennas are
tested prior to shipment including gain test.

In September last year, MTI Wireless Edge released its high performance 802.11n triple polarity 4.9-6.1GHz
18dBi flat panel antenna as part of the legacy product line of MIMO antennas
covering the 4.9-6.1 GHz WiMAX, ISM/UNII and Public Safety bands. This antenna
incorporates 3 antennas with 3 different polarities under one radome.
