Nokia announced Telefonica Spain will use the Deepfield Cloud Intelligence analytics solution to improve user experience and troubleshoot content delivery in real time.
Telefonica Spain’s network engineers will be deploying the analytics solution to ensure more visibility into application and service traffic on its network. Telefonica Spain’s analytics team can use data-driven insight and analytics to take automated actions to significantly improve service assurance and performance.
Telefonica’s deployment of Nokia Deepfield software is part of the telecom operator’s automation strategy to improve network performance and quality of experience. Nokia said its Cloud Genome technology tracks more than 50,000 popular cloud applications and over-the-top services.
Nokia Deepfield allow Telefonica’s network engineers to adapt to changes in application demand and fluctuating traffic patterns by supporting advanced IP network engineering and assurance use cases with automation, said Kevin Macaluso, general manager of Nokia Deepfield.
“Nokia’s Deepfield solution gives us the necessary network visibility and actionable analytics that will allow us to automate operations to improve network and service capabilities,” Javier Gutierrez, director of Strategy and Network and IT Development at Telefonica Spain, said.
