RADCOM signs 3-year deal with Globe Telecom

Globe Telecom 4GGlobe Telecom, a telecom operator in the Philippines with over 60 million customers, has offered 3-year contract extension with RADCOM to provide service assurance for mobile network, and assure their transformation to NFV (Network Functions Virtualization).

Globe Telecom has – in the last five years — used RADCOM’s MaveriQ solution for insights on real-time customer experience to assure service quality and high customer satisfaction. MaveriQ, a service assurance solution from RADCOM, delivers value, actionable insights into the customer experience, and a seamless transition to future technologies.

“This 3-year partnership will optimize our Packet Core IP Probe system to deliver superior mobile data service to our customers through real time monitoring of our mobile network KPIs and subscribers’ KQIs,” said James Lim, vice president for Network Technology Group at Globe Telecom.

The analytics system enables detection of breached thresholds to trigger action and rectification of issues, before they impact subscriber data experience. RADCOM will support Globe Telecom for the deployment of new technologies such as NFV, IPv6 and Kafka.

“These technologies are critical to meeting business demands for faster capacity rollout, increasing numbers of data customers and devices, as well as immediate business analytics data mining and processing,” James Lim said.
