WaveLab unveils 7 and 13 GHz outdoor RF units for Use in America


WaveLab, a developer of low cost, high quality, indoor
and outdoor RF units for Tier I and II OEM microwave radio suppliers, announced
the launch of its 7 and 13 GHz outdoor RF units (ODUs) for use in the USA market.


The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) modified its
rules (RM-11602) on August 9, 2011 allowing the 7 and 13 GHz bands to be
co-shared by Broadcasters, Carriers, and Private Users.


Over the past three years, WaveLab has
shipped over 200,000 RF units globally with over 80,000 hour MTBFs. Its family
of outdoor RF units includes the following key features: Supports ITU-R
frequency bands from 6 to 38 GHz, designed to meet FCC, ETSI and CE type
approval, safety and emissions standards, supports power levels up to 30 dBm
and supports ANSI 10 to 40 MHz and ETSI 7 to 56 MHz channels.
