Telecom Lead India: Uninor is readying for next round of
mobile tariff war. The struggling mobile service provider has launched free
local calls on Sundays in Chennai.
The free unlimited local calls (Uninor to Uninor) are
applicable to all existing / new Uninor customers. The offer is valid on every
Sunday starting from July 22nd to August 26th 2012.

Two days ago, Uninor has launched
its Special Tariff Voucher – STV 49 Ek Bharat, Ek Rate plan.
Uninor claims that it is the only GSM
operator in Mumbai to provide the cheapest talk time plan without any
restrictions at Rs 49. Uninor’s new pack comes with a validity of one month and
offers a flat rate of just 25 paise per minute on all local and STD calls.
