Sistema Shyam TeleServices (MTS India) has launched CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network in Bhiwadi, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur.

To offer better experience on CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II, MTS India has unveiled MBlaze Ultra – a dongle providing data download speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps.
“Targeted at the young, MBlaze Ultra provides fast data speeds of up to 9.8 Mbps that will significantly enhance customer experience while accessing streaming multimedia,” said Ashish Bhatia, COO – Rajasthan Circle MTS India.
Jaipur, Bhiwadi, Jodhpur, Kota and Udaipur are the only five cities (all in Rajasthan) in India to have this latest telecom technology.
The company plans to take the CDMA EV-DO Rev.B Phase II network to many more cities across all nine circles where it provides telecom services and is awaiting the allotment of its third carrier (1.25 MHz) from DoT.
Benefits from CDMA EV-DO REV.B Phase II Network
The commercial use of EV-DO Rev.B technology will greatly enhance the mobile broadband experience of MBlaze Ultra users.
Compared to EV-DO Rev.B Phase I, the Phase II technology can further enhance the BTS cell capacity, spectrum efficiency and peak rate, achieving high speed rate as high as 4.9 Mbps in single frequency carrier and 9.8 Mbps in two frequency carrier bundle.
