Top 20 telecom service providers based on mobile user-base

Telecom Lead India: Wireless Intelligence has shared statistics of top 20 global telecom operators based on the mobile subscribers.

From India, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communications, Idea Cellular and BSNL are in top 20 global list of telecom service providers.

China Mobile leads the mobile market based on subscribers. Vodafone is in second position. Bharti Airtel is in fourth position.

China’s all three mobile operators – China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom – are in the top 20 list.

The new Scoreboard tracks the top 20 global operator groups by connections based on majority-owned assets in Q2 2012. Minority holdings (less than 50 percent plus one share) are excluded from the analysis.
