Research agency IDC has revealed the latest market share of server suppliers for the second quarter of 2018.

Cisco is the leader in the router market. Cisco has 35.7 percent of the global router market. Huawei has 31.7 percent share of the router market. The router market share of Juniper is 12.8 percent.

Cisco’s service provider and enterprise router revenue fell 15.2 percent in Q2 2018. Cisco’s service provider and enterprise router market share fell to 35.7 percent from 41.0 percent. Cisco’s enterprise router sales fell 7.9 percent while service provider sales dipped 18.9 percent.

Huawei’s enterprise and service provider router revenue increased 23.3 percent to finish with 31.7 percent share compared to 25.1 percent of the total router market in Q2 2017, IDC said.
