Keysight Technologies announced that Bureau Veritas has selected the company’s 5G conformance test solutions for 5G new radio (NR) device certification.

Bureau Veritas’ Consumer Products Services division has selected Keysight’s 5G network emulations solutions to meet their 5G radio frequency (RF) conformance test requirements as specified by the 3GPP 5G NR standard.

Bureau Veritas aims to address a range of RF demodulation and radio resource management (RRM) test cases validated by the Global Certification Forum (GCF) and PTCRB.

“Keysight’s 5G test solutions enable Bureau Veritas to offer 5G solutions to existing mobile and ICT clients. We will also pro-actively support clients across diverse industries such as automotive, healthcare, manufacturing and agriculture, who will be adopting 5G to make their products connected,” Nicolas Girard, vice president of Bureau Veritas Electrical & Electronics, Automotive and Wireless business in Greater China, said.

Keysight’s 5G network emulation solutions enable mobile operators, chipset and device manufacturers, as well as test labs, to validate new devices across the workflow, from early design to acceptance and manufacturing in both sub-6GHz (FR1) and mmWave (FR2) frequency bands, Kailash Narayanan, vice president and general manager of Keysight’s wireless test group, said.
