Sprint lands in T-Mobile turf with $60 unlimited data plan

The $60 unlimited data plan announced by Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure has the potential to shake up the American wireless industry because both AT&T and Verizon do not have a similarly priced plan, while T-Mobile has a $80 package.

Sprint CEO is also focusing on the importance of the company’s new network – 3G and 4G — to regain market share. The newly joined CEO Claure emphasizes on “America’s Newest Network for just $60 per month, a $20 savings compared to T-Mobile’s $80 per month unlimited plan.”

This indicates demand for better network coverage in the U.S.

Last year U.S. wireless consumers devoured 3.23 trillion MB of data, according to CTIA’s annual survey. Sprint allows Americans to continue download their favorite music or video. Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan allows consumers to avoid bill shocks.

Sprint’s everyday price of $60 a month for unlimited saves customers $480 over two years against T-Mobile’s $80 everyday pricing. Customers can save $120 over two years versus T-Mobile’s promotional price.

Sprint $60 Unlimited Plan is an ideal fit for small businesses.

Meanwhile, T-Mobile today said its Simple Choice customer can bring Sprint or AT&T or Verizon customer and receive and free unlimited LTE data for a full year on T-Mobile’s -fast LTE network. T-Mobile Simple Choice customers who already have unlimited LTE data receive a $10 credit each month for twelve months.
