ZTE launches mobile hotspot device with Qualcomm LTE chips

Telecom Lead Asia: ZTE has launched its new mobile hotspot device with Qualcomm LTE chips.

LTE / 4G users will benefit from the new mobile hotspot device.

The Chinese telecom equipment major claims that ZTE MF93D ultra-speed 4G (LTE) uFi (unified WiFi) mobile hotspot device can reach a maximum speed of up to 100Mbps and can be accessed by 10 users at the same time.

Decreased power consumption, increased battery capacity of 2800mAh and improved heat dispersion are the main value additions to the new device.

Offering a major upgrade to ZTE’s first generation LTE uFi products, it supports dual-band 2.4G/5GHz WiFi networks and mainstream 4G bands in the Europe and Asian-Pacific regions.

Users can also use on 3G and 2G networks.

ZTE says the ZTE MF93D offers an excellent user interface with a 1.4-inch touch screen and support for a uFi monitor, allowing users to access the Internet with just one key. Users’ mobile phones can be used to simply and quickly check the status of uFi devices, network signal strength, battery capacity, data flow statistics and upload/download speed.

“The ZTE MF93D’s powerful functions and outstanding performance have already ensured the popularity of the device with mainstream operators all over the world,” said Liu Shuliang, MBB Product Planning Director, ZTE.

“ZTE has dedicated itself to providing users with a fast, convenient and diverse multimedia experience. We expect to bring users around the world into the 4G era with a brand-new surfing experience, based on our 20-year history in the field of telecommunications and our ability to provide a comprehensive portfolio of products,” Liu added.
