EarthLink selects ADTRAN to launch hosted business service

ADTRAN, a provider of networking solutions, announced
EarthLink, an IP infrastructure and services company, will implement ADTRAN’s
switches, routers and gateways for the launch of its EarthLink BusinessTM
Complete suite.

EarthLink’s Complete suite will offer a comprehensive
portfolio of nationwide business-class voice, data, and Internet solutions.

EarthLink will deploy ADTRAN’s NetVanta series of
switches and routers and Total Access 900 series of IP Business Gateways to
deliver its integrated, hosted network management solution.

In ADTRAN we found an equipment partner that could
position us to meet those needs and by combining ADTRAN’s NetVanta and Total
Access solutions with the company’s unparalleled support, EarthLink is able to
confidently offer its customers an advanced network management solution that is
ideal for a company of any size and scale,” said Jim O’Brien, EarthLink
executive vice president of network services and customer operations.

The integrated and compact design of ADTRAN’s NetVanta
Series lowers network costs without compromising performance or reliability,
and the Total Access’ modular approach breaks down barriers to profitability,
overcoming logistical deployment issues and expanding customer reach.

Additionally, ADTRAN’s Total Access 900 series allows
service providers, like EarthLink, to promote strategic network planning with
its grow-as-you-go” modularity.

EarthLink wanted to deliver unique, in-demand
business-class services to create a clear and compelling differentiation in
today’s competitive marketplace and ADTRAN’s solutions and support provide the
definitive edge they need to win,” said Todd Lattanzi, senior product manager,
ADTRAN‘s
Enterprise Networks Division.”

Recently, ADTRAN announced
that the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) has certified ADTRAN’s NetVanta 850 Carrier
