MTN Satellite appoints senior managers for Yacht services division

MTN Satellite Communications
(MTN), a global provider of communications, connectivity and content services
to remote locations, announced that the company’s yacht services division
has brought on industry veteran Patty Lengel as
its new executive sales manager and named Kerry Pettitt director of Sales, EMEA
and
Asia.

As
yacht owners, charters and crew increasingly expect the same high-quality
communications capabilities they have at home while at sea, the company is
bolstering its yacht team to continue providing customers with high-quality,
global VSAT connectivity solutions for these vessels.

Lengel
will serve as executive sales manager, leveraging her 17 years of yacht
industry experience to focus on business development and maintaining existing
relationships with the company’s worldwide yacht partners and clients.

recently, she spent six years as the service sales representative for Derecktor
Shipyards. Prior to joining Derecktor Shipyards, she was a Maritime sales manager
for MedAire, a company that provides a direct link to doctors for entities in
remote locations including private jets, commercial aircraft, shipping vessels
and yachts.

Pettitt
will continue to work with existing yacht customers and Maritime Service
Providers (MSPs), and focus on new business development in his role as the
Director of Sales for EMEA and
Asia. He will also oversee the sales team and
customer account managers.

“MTN
is known in the industry as a provider of world-class satellite communications,
which is demonstrated by our presence on more than 50 percent of the world’s
largest yachts and our continued growth,” said Derik
Wagner

MTN’s
yacht solutions meet the communication needs of owners, captains and crew with
seamless connectivity no matter where they set sail. The services can be
customized and bandwidth can be upgraded to meet yachts’ specific needs.
