Tech Mahindra posts 7% increase in revenues FY11-12

Telecom Lead India: Software exporter Tech Mahindra has
posted revenue of Rs 5,490 million for the full year FY11-12, up 7 percent, as
compared to Rs 5,140 million.


For the fourth-quarter, the company posted revenues of Rs
1,419 million, up 13 percent Rs 1,261 million a year earlier.


The company’s telecom service provider segment fetched Rs
1,242 million in the fourth quarter, as compared to Rs 1,056 million a year earlier.
For the full year, revenues from this segment declined to Rs 4,428 from Rs
4,472 million for previous year.


Telecom equipment manufacturer segment revenue stood at
Rs 90 million for the fourth quarter, against Rs 106 million a year earlier.
For the full year, the segment revenue at Rs 359 million, as compared to Rs 263
million for FY11.


Tech Mahindra’s consolidated Net profit after tax (PAT)
for Q4 was at Rs 303 million, up 228 percent YoY and full year PAT was at Rs
1,095 million, up 70 percent as compared to previous year.

customers,” said Vineet Nayyar, vice chairman, MD and CEO of Tech
Mahindra.


During the quarter, Tech Mahindra and
RedKnee announced the launch of ‘Telco in-a-box”š Solution at Mobile World
Congress, Barcelona.


The MOU will leverage both companies domain strengths and
leadership along with ISI’s academic brilliance in the field of Analytics to
develop joint solutions in data mining and data analytics.


In Q4, the company was chosen by a leading European Telco
for managing the operation and delivery of Vendor Access Services (VAS).


The company said that it won a multiyear multimillion
dollar deal to provide production support for mission critical applications
covering customer care and mediation processes in the areas of LTE (Mobility
4G) and IT Network Delivery for a Tier I operator in North America.


Additionally, the company added that it won a multiyear
deal with Leading European Telco for managing its Unified Ticketing System
implementation.


As part of the deal TechM will be implementing BMC ITSM
suite in two of client’s European locations. With this win, TechM has made a
successful entry in to Clients “Preferred Suppliers List for OSS
Domain”.
